What a Spectacle

Last week I picked up my new specs from Dresden Optics in Newtown.

I am super excited to be able to see clearly again but the best part is these are specs made from recycled plastics in a closed loop system. Dresden recycle milk bottle lids into great cost effective eyewear.

Well, I am all about plastics - reducing and reusing in my sculpture.  But the new container deposit scheme in NSW has cut off my supply of PET. Mustn't grumble. There is no shortage of other plastics.
